When Jonathan “Hollywood” Hannon and I first started chasing Guinness World Records together (i.e. I tricked my neighbor into “helping” me), we never imagined we’d end up as one of the most prolific duos in record-breaking history. But here we are—back at it again—with our latest feat: 39 behind-the-back catches in one minute, shattering the previous record of 30.
A Legendary Reunion in Boise
Jonathan and I go back (to when he wanted to meet his apparently eccentric buy across the street). We were neighbors and co-conspirators in over 30 world record titles. From speed challenges to coordination stunts, we’ve always pushed each other to the edge of what’s possible—and then a little further.
Although Jonathan moved to Michigan, that didn’t stop our partnership. But when he recently returned to Boise for a visit, we both knew what needed to happen: we had to take down another record.
Training, Warm-ups, and World Record Focus
We didn’t jump right into it. It took a few warm-ups, a couple of mistimed tosses, and a solid rhythm to get back in sync. But once we locked in, the chemistry was undeniable—just like old times.
One minute. One goal. Max precision.
And then it happened: 39 clean behind-the-back catches, smashing the old record by 9.
Over 30 Titles—and Counting
With this new title, we believe we now hold the most active Guinness World Records together as a duo. From Boise backyards to official record-breaking stages, our partnership has always been about fun, challenge, and pushing limits—together.
This wasn’t just a record—it was a celebration of friendship, teamwork, and a shared obsession with doing the impossible.
