Broke the Record with Flying Colors

Breaking Records and Making History: The Peanut M&M Challenge

Hey everyone, David Rush here, another record-breaking adventure for you all!

Last time, I set the world record for the fastest time to sort 500g of peanut M&Ms in 1 minute and 14 seconds breaking it by 5 seconds during the 1-week challenge. But records are meant to be broken, and someone managed to beat my time with a 1 minute and 12 second run. As you know, I don’t just break records—I defend them!

This time, I had no time constraints on practice and was determined to crush the record with a sub-1-minute run. My journey was filled with hilarious obstacles, like my daughter adding water to my M&Ms and my sons making the supplies magically disappear, leading to multiple trips to the store. But I persevered!

I optimized my technique, gathering as many of one color as possible before dropping them into the correct bowl. I saved the most popular color for last and practiced tirelessly. Finally, it was time for the official attempt. My eyes were locked, my fingers flew, and the seconds ticked away.

After 57.78 seconds, I raised my hand and called “stop.” The record was mine again, and it tasted so sweet!

Check out the video to see the action unfold. I’m David Rush, and I hold the most Guinness World Records titles. Stay tuned for more record-breaking fun!
