Bowling Juggle Balance

Breaking the Guinness World Record: 240 Catches in One Minute While Juggling a Bowling Ball and Two Juggling Balls on a Balance Board

I I achieved the Guinness World Record for the most juggling catches in one minute while juggling a 10-pound bowling ball and two juggling balls while standing on a balance board. The minimum mark stood at 100 catches, but on my third attempt (after dropping early on the first 2) at the Guinness World Records headquarters in London, I smashed it with 240 catches. T

The record required juggling a 10-pound bowling ball and two standard juggling balls while balancing on a roller board. Sounds tough, right? It was. But the hardest part wasn’t just the juggling or the balancing—it was the combination of both, along with the added challenge of the bowling ball’s weight and the board’s instability. The Guinness MC even tried to stand on the roller board himself and quickly realized how tricky it was. He fell off almost immediately, which gave me a good laugh but also highlighted just how difficult this record was.

I didn’t have my usual balance board for this attempt because it was too big to travel with. The replacement board I used had a mind of its own. Every time I caught the bowling ball, the board would slide across the rolling rock or the floor, creating a super slippery surface. It felt like I was juggling on ice!

A 10-pound bowling ball might not sound like much, but when you’re catching it as fast as you can while juggling, it takes a toll. My biceps were screaming by the end of the attempt, but the real pain came from the outside of my wrists. I was dealing with tendinitis, which made every catch even more painful.

Balancing, juggling, and counting catches all at once required intense focus. One slip, one missed catch, and the entire attempt could (and did) fall apart. Staying mentally sharp was just as important as the physical endurance.

On my third attempt, everything clicked. Despite the slippery board, the heavy bowling ball, and the wrist pain, I managed to pull off 240 catches in one minute—more than double the mark of 100. The feeling of accomplishment was palpable. All the hours of practice, the sore muscles, and the challenges along the way were worth it in that moment.
