Jonathan “Hollywood” Hannon and I just took back the world record for the most alternate fist bumps in 30 seconds. The current record was 408, but we smashed it during a shoot in London while filming 99 To Beat, the “#1 one new game show on TV” according to FOX.

“Johnny” was eliminated in the last episode, unfortunately, during a brutal team exercise that had everyone on edge. I’ll keep going on my own, repping both of us with Ken Jeong calling me out as the “front runner”, which is fun. The competition has been wild, but this record felt like something we needed to take back together.

This one was special for a lot of reasons. A few years ago, I held the same record with Dr. Mike from YouTube fame. We landed 398 fist bumps in 30 seconds, and that record made it into the Guinness World Records book. Before that, I broke it with Howie Mandel on America’s Got Talent, hitting 380 fist bumps in 30 seconds. And even earlier, I first held it with Joey Hannon, Jonathan’s son.

So yeah, this one really came full circle.

Breaking the record again with Johnny felt like bringing it back home. We filmed it right there on set in London, surrounded by other contestants from the show who served as witnesses and timekeepers. It was fast, loud, and ridiculously fun. Hopefully this one stands a little longer than the others, but if not, I guess we’ll just have to run it back.
